We’re really excited about this new development as it will make it much quicker and easier to ski over to Switzerland, especially during busy times and open up the Mossettes sector of the Avoriaz to a wider range of skiers and snowboarders.Īs part of the aforementioned new link to Champèry – les Crosets, a new red slope is being built in the Mossettes area of Avoriaz. This will give you easy access to a number of slopes leading into les Crosets and Champèry, as well as back down into Avoriaz. Starting from the Lindarets bowl, the six-person Léchère lift will replace the old three-person lift of the same name and transport skiers and snowboarders to about half way up Avoriaz’s famous 11km blue run, Abricotine.įollowing on from Léchère will be the Cases chairlift, another six-person lift that will finish just above the top of la Grande Conche, one of the lifts that links from les Crosets to Avoriaz.
